TRIVIA NIGHT AT NEW BASIN
The Jefferson County Historical Society’s February Trivia Night is set for the last Wednesday of the month, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. at New Basin Distilling Co. The event, which costs $5 per person, will help raise funds for the historical society, which last year purchased the historic Methodist Church, at 164 SE D St., to house its museum. Trivia Night participants can form their own teams or join others for the event, which also includes a 50-50 fundraiser. New Basin is located at 2063 NW Andrews Drive in Madras.
COWSILLS CONCERT TO BENEFIT JCHS
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 11, for a concert featuring The Cowsills, a group of siblings from a family band, which had hits including, “Hair,” “The Rain, The Park, and Other Things,” and “Indian Lake,” in the late 1960s. The concert will be a fundraiser for the Jefferson County Historical Society, to be held at the Madras Performing Arts Center. More information on tickets will be available at a later date.
