Dress up and come have fun!

Break out your Halloween costumes for the Jefferson County Historical Society’s October Trivia Night, set for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. at New Basin Distilling Co. Bring your friends for the event, which costs $5 per person, and helps raise funds for the historical society’s future museum.

After last year’s purchase of the historic Methodist Church, at 164 SE D St., JCHS is in the process of preparing the old church for that purpose. At Trivia Night, participants can form their own teams or join others for the event, which also includes a 50-50 fundraiser. New Basin is located at 2063 NW Andrews Drive in Madras.
